Alicia and Paul had a beautiful summer wedding at Summit Lodge in Killington, Vermont. This was a new venue for me so, as always with new wedding venues, I arranged to meet Emmet the owner a few days before the wedding to have a look around. I must say, I was given the grand tour of this amazing venue and I absolutely loved photographing my first wedding there. Gardens, woods, typical Vermont split rail fencing, giant chess games and enchanting walkways all lead themselves to wonderful wedding and pre-wedding photos. I could hardly wait for the wedding day to take advantage of all these new discoveries!
Another advantage of booking your wedding at Summit Lodge is the fact you actually get the entire lodge to yourself and your wedding guests. A completely private and idyllic setting and their wedding planner, Jessica is extremely professional and friendly and thanks to her, Emmet and the wonderful staff at Summit Lodge, the entire day went like clock work.
Alicia and Paul are such a fun "party" couple and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting them, their family, friends and the rest of their wedding party and capturing all the fun and romance on their special day.
